Bio
Dr. Erbaugh specializes in community-based research with women, pregnant and parenting people, LGBTQ+ communities, K-12 and university educators, and public health professionals. Her collaborative projects focus on birth equity, reproductive and sexual health, inclusive education and data policies and implementation, and community organizing for social justice.
Currently Associate Professor of Sociology, Chair of Sociology and Anthropology, Investigator and Co-founder of the Community-based Social Research Collaborative at Stockton University, she has taught sociology, gender studies, public health, and American studies courses at universities in New Jersey, Indiana, Iowa and New Mexico.
Dr. Erbaugh has presented her work at meetings of the American Public Health Association, American Sociological Association, National Women's Studies Association, Society for the Study of Social Problems, and the Los Angeles Queer Studies Conference, among other fora.
Her work appears in interdisciplinary journals and edited volumes including Social Science Research; Race, Gender and Class; the Journal of Community Engagement and Higher Education; the International Journal of Law and Psychiatry; Practical Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology; and Gender Violence: Interdisciplinary Perspectives.
